My day has officially tanked.
Guess what I just found out?!?!!
I have to work the day after New Years Day!!!
Yes, we are supposed to have an observed holiday for this day according to my handbook. But I asked BossLady today and she has informed me that we are working on Monday.
Not fair. I have both E and B off school and work that day and I lose that extra time with them. I could have done some major shopping.
Plus, to add insult to injury, we are having a 2006 year planning meeting on Saturday morning. So I have a day and a half of a weekend that is a holiday weekend.
Pray that it is quiet tomorrow. If so, we can either have our meeting then OR go home early.
