Happy Anniversary and more updates

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

First and foremost I need to say Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband of 9 years. I cannot beleive that it was 9 years ago that I said my "I do's" to E. We have had quite a journey and it continues to go on and become stronger and stronger over time.

IN REMEMBRANCE

Next, I do need to take a moment for a friend of mine in Bedford. He lost his dear friend, CongressWoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones. She was pulled over by Cleveland Heights Police when they found her driving erratically and found semi-unconscious. She passed away early this morning after suffering an aneurysm. She was a wonderful representative and I know that she will be missed by all that knew her dearly.

PAGEANT STUFF...

Well, because a blog of mine cannot have some pageant update!! The Ohio Cinderella Team did a great job in Las Vegas this year with a few Top Ten Placements in the Finals. I will get more of that as time comes. I could not get an entire list. I volunteered at Miss Black Ohio USA this past weekend and had a great time catching up with my Ohio International pals. I love how beautiful and intelligent each of them are. They are wonderful people.

OHIO INTERNATIONAL

Speaking of Ohio International, each of the girls had a great time competing at Mrs/Miss/Miss Teen International a few weeks back. Here are a few pictures of Gerri (Mrs. Ohio), Amanda (Miss Ohio) and Lisa (Miss Teen Ohio) from the cometition week.

Although non of them placed in the Top Ten, I know that they did their best and gave it their all. Thanks to the International Pageants website for these lovely photos.

Competition for the Mrs./Miss/Miss Teen Ohio International pageants is on January 1,2,3. Please let me know if you would like information as I am definitely always on the lookout for those who wish to compete.

OHIO REPRODUCTIVE

We are now officially on our journey to having another child. We have been on the journey for a bit but now we are taking a new path. We are going to Ohio Reproductive and giving that a try. Hopefully we will have some luck and success here. The only fear I have is the money. I know that insurance only covers so much and the rest is up to us. I am leaving this in God's hands to help us come up with the funding if we should so need it. For now, we are trusting the doctors and their expertise. They have made it very clear that their only point and purpose is to get us pregnant.

That is about all for now. More blogging to come and hopefully not in another month.
