Don't Worry About Anything, Instead Pray About Everything

I have been reading a devotions book for moms. This phrase was in yesterdays readings and it stuck in my mind. It is honestly the truth.

Then last night I had a dream. You know me and my visual dreams. This one I was going to an adoption agency with Mrs. Int'l 1999. I am not completely certain why we were there but we were there together. Then we went to a home that was not the house that I am used to but it was her home. Fast forward into the dream and I dreamt about receiving a gorgeous diamond necklace while I was on a cruise. It was stunning.

Once again, dreammooods.com has given this analysis:

Adopted

To dream that you or others are adopting a child, indicates that you are taking on something new and different. Ask yourself what is missing in your life that would make you happy.

House

To see a new house in your dream, indicates that you are entering into a new phase or new area in your life.

Diamonds

To see diamonds in your dream, signifies the wholeness of the Self. You may be finding clarity in matters that have been clouding you. It may also point to your unchanging or unyielding nature. Alternatively, it represents vanity and conceit. You may be distancing yourself from others.

Necklace

To see or wear a necklace in your dream, represents unsatisfied desires. It also highlights your intellect and your desire to have more influence and power over others.

Cruise

To dream that you are on a cruise, represents some emotional journey that you are going through. The dream may also be a pun on "cruising" through situations in your life with ease and little effort.

From what I can interpret, I have reached a comfortable point in my life and ready to take on more. Which is a calming peace for me.

I guess I will just have to heed the reading in my devotions. Just pray for what is to come next.

And to finish off, have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am thankful for so much this year but I am especailly thankful for my family. They have been my rock this year and for that I give thanks!!!

Dressing-Room Downpour Drenches Pageant Contestants

Now when I was competing, something like this would have happened to me. Not necessarily me causing it, but I would have been caught in the dressing room.

POSTED: 11:37 a.m. EST, November 2, 2006

ASHLAND, Kentucky (AP) -- About 1,000 gallons of water poured into a northeastern Kentucky arts center Saturday when a scholarship pageant contestant attempted to steam out the wrinkles in her dress as it hung from a sprinkler head on the ceiling.

Firefighters said heat from a steamer triggered the sprinkler system on the second floor of the Paramount Arts Center. About two and a half inches of standing water flooded the center, causing an estimated $30,000 in damage.

"There was all this water flowing down from the ceiling and all these pageant contestants standing around, some in curlers, some holding their dresses," said Cindy Collins, director of operations at the Paramount. "It was pretty crazy."

The contestant who tripped the sprinklers, who wasn't identified, was "totally soaked," Collins said.

She said the arts center probably would place signs in the dressing rooms warning people to not hang garments from the sprinkler heads.

In showbiz fashion, the center cordoned off the wet spots and the Miss Ashland Area Scholarship Pageant went on.

For The Love Of Her Country

This is an amazing story to me. Kind of inspirational. I know what it is like to have a title and how hard it must be for her to give it up.

Jessica Gaulke's resignation as the Aquatennial Queen of the Lakes takes effect Jan. 3, 2007, after she represents the Aquatennial at the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, Calif.

Beauty queen headed for tour of duty in Iraq

Associated Press

MINNEAPOLIS — Jessica Gaulke is trading in her sash as a Minnesota beauty queen for Army fatigues — and Iraq.

Gaulke, who was chosen Minneapolis Aquatennial Queen of the Lakes in July, is giving up her title because her National Guard unit has been activated for duty. The 22-year-old Augsburg College sociology student will be going to the Mideast as a diesel generator mechanic.

"It really wasn't a decision that was mine to be made," said Gaulke. "My unit's going. I've accepted it. It's part of the whole scope of why I joined; I'll be there for all of us over here."

Gaulke said being Queen of the Lakes, Minnesota's best-known festival royalty, is "a huge honor," but she said she is simply honoring the agreement she made when she committed to the Guard before her senior year in high school.

Her last day as queen will be Jan. 2, when she'll represent the Aquatennial in the Rose Bowl parade. Aquatennial officials will announce the new queen in January. She'll serve until July and, like Gaulke, will receive a $4,000 college scholarship.

"We're distressed to lose a good queen, but we'll have a worthy successor. And we're proud of her for making this choice and what she'll do for the country," Aquatennial President Jim Erickson said.

Donald Trump's view on Network Marketing

Today all I feel that I have been doing is procrastinating. I know that I have not but really I feel that I have.

I have had a few appointments this week and felt that todays went especially well. For those of you who do not know, I have been trying to build our USANA business while I am on the search of what to do with my life while I am unemployed. I will admit, I love being at home. It has been nice to get caught up around the house (although I never feel like I can catch up with houeswork!!) and to read and teach myself more about network marketing. It really is a spectacular field that is completely underrated by most people.

The thing that really re-ignighted my passion was hearing what Donald Trump had to say about Network Marketing on The David Letterman Show. David asked The Donald the following question:

"If you were to lose all of your money today and had to start all over again, what would you do?"

And The Donald said "Network Marketing"

And the audience started to laugh. It was then that The Donald pointed to them and said the following line:

"And that is why you are there and I am here!"

I have always admired Donald Trump for his level of success coupled with his compassion for people. My admiration for him grew over time and from watching The Apprentice. To hear his response lifted my spirits immensely.

But today, I cannot seem to get into my groove!!

To help refocus myself, I am attaching pictures from our International Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. We had an absolute blast out there bonding with our teams and learning more about USANA. The energy was just unreal and it was nice to be in a room filled with motivated people from all over the world.

Little Boy Blonde Moment

OK. Now this made my day!!

I was getting B out of the bath this morning and helped him to put his underwear on. I took his clothes and put them on the floor so he could get dressed. He starts a very high pitched whine that about drove me crazy. So I asked what was wrong. He started to whine that he can't get dressed because I did not put any underwear out for him.

At this point I could not help it. I started to crack up laughing. Then I said to him very nicely that he was already wearing his underwear. He looked down and saw that his SpiderMan underwear were right on him like I said.

Now at this point he could have started crying or give me a very hurt look. But he didn't. He started laughing. And at least I knew that he has a great sense of humor. He can at least laugh at himself. And that made me feel better about laughing.
