More Prayers Please

Ok. I have heard from a few people and it looks like we need to keep the prayer chain going.

Catwoman - she is a friend of mine from college and she recently lost her job. Gotta love our job market right? We all know that it is not easy to get a job when you are already out of work but I have got some serious prayers going for her. Join me will ya?

Update on Grimm - Brain surgery went well with the exception that he has lost feeling in both arms from the elbows down. He found this out Monday night and since then has regained use of his right thumb and a small percentage of use back in his left arm. Keep the prayers coming.

E - surgery was scheduled for the 24th and now they have changed the date. We are uncertain as to the date again but it will be soon.

Hope that everyone else is doing well. Take care.

People Prayers Needed Please

I have a few people that need some prayers so if you can spare some I would appreciate it.

Grimmy - he went in for brain surgery this week and as of right now he has no feeling in his arms from the elbow down. He is a co-worker of mine and a great friend to me and my family. I will be seeing him soon so that will be good for him and for me. I am praying for no permanent paralysis for him as that woudl inhibit his work.

E - sometime this month my husband will need to go in for outpatient surgery. We have been having some fertility issues and hopefully this will correct his end of it before they start my side of it. As some of you may know we have been having problems conceiving another child and we so desperately want to expand our family.

If you can keep them in your prayers it would be appreciated. Thanks!!

New Years Resolutions Anyone?!?!?!

I hate resolutions. Hate hate hate them.

Every year you are expected to resolve that you will do something and majority of people break it in a week.

I have caught myself doing the "I resolve to do this." and "I resolve to do that." I think it is just a natural association with the season. But it drives me crazy.

I am a preson who cannot stand to break a promise. Probably because I have had so many people do it to me in the past. But I cannot help but to want to resolve something.

So if I must resolve to do something here is what it will be:

My resolutions are:

1) To be a better wife, mother and friend to those around me.
2) To remember to take one hour to myself per day for sanity reasons.
3) To be the best Insurance Agent I can be.
4) To scrapbook more with my friends.
5) To take a minute per day and be thankful for what I have.

Forget the weight loss resolutions and the save more money resolutions and all the other countless ones that will be forgotten in five minutes or less.

This is what I have to offer. Hold me to it, okay?!?!
